Your phone system includes an online portal with numerous options, including call history, answering rules, and SNAPMobile, a web-based phone with features similar to that of a desk phone. Instructions for setting this up and using it are below.

Logging into the Portal

The portal is available here: http://voice.mytelepath.com/

Your login will be your extension number followed by your company's domain name, such as 123@mytelepath or similar. If you don't know your domain name, contact MyTelepath for that info. Please also note that this portal is only designed to be used with Google Chrome; other browsers may still work to varying degrees, but are not supported.

If you haven't logged into the portal before, click on the link at the bottom reading "Are you new user?," then enter your email address and your extension number (just the number - no need for the @ or domain). If you get an error, it may be because your account does not have an email address already associated with it, or has one other than what you entered; if this happens, contact MyTelepath to ensure this can be set up correctly. We can manually set a password for an account as well.

Opening SNAPMobile Web

Once you're logged in, an option reading "Web Phone" will appear near the top right of the screen:

Clicking on that link will open the web portal. The first time you open, it may do a few things, including asking for permission to use your computer's microphone (you'll want to be sure to say yes), and a request to enable the web phone to receive inbound calls (again, be sure to say yes):

Using SNAPMobile Web

The top portion of the SNAPMobile Web window has four main options (from left to right) - contacts, voicemail, call history, and chat/SMS. Your contacts list will include the other extensions in your domain; clicking on one of those will give you the option to call that extension. Voicemail and call history let you look at those features. Chat/SMS will let you send text messages to other users that are using the SNAPMobile Web platform. SMS (aka text messages from off-network phones) is not currently supported.

To place a call, simply click on the red '+' button in the lower right corner of the window, then click on the keypad and enter a number.

When on a call, you'll see options like you would on a desk phone, including mute, hold, and transfer. You can also click on 'Switch Phone' to move the call to a desk phone on the same extension if the need arises.

As always, if you run into any issues with the web phone or have any questions, please contact MyTelepath at 952-400-6000 or at support@mytelepath.com
